How much money can
I save by using this system?
As you
will be able to decorate your products more accurately,
using less people, in a smaller space, with less wastage,
there are significant savings all round. You can get a

Can this
system match existing waterslide decals?
Yes, this system uses exactly the same colours as waterslide decals and
will fire, where necessary, in exactly the same way and can,
in fact, be fired alongside conventionally decorated
articles. But, of course, when you decorate your items with
this system they can be fired immediately – there’s no
need to dry.
What
are the set up times?
This
varies from machine to machine, but generally, all our
machines are designed to give a quick set up. In the case of
the SRC-3 mug machine, an experienced operative can set up
from start to finish in less than 10 minutes. The SRC-9
candle machine will take less than 5 minutes. So you can mix
shapes and sizes easily. On the SRC-9 machine, you can even
swap from candles to glass tumblers in just a few minutes.
And
changeover times?
Changeover
of a pattern when the machine is already set up for the
shape and size of article will take less than 3 minutes
which means that you can decorate small runs and produce,
say, 50 of one pattern, 20 of another, and 30 of another,
very quickly and easily.
Can your
machines accommodate short runs?
Yes, see
above. And because the decals are printed on a roll, where a
photo electric sensor positions the decal accurately, you
don’t have to worry about the differences in die cutting,
batch to batch, and the subsequent loss of register, as you
do with a cassette fed system.
Can you
print precious metals alongside normal colours?
Yes, using
decals immediately overcomes a lot of the problems usually
associated with direct screening. Colours are sharper and in
perfect register and, for example, reds will not turn black
when they are printed next to a gold.
Why is
wastage so much less with your system?
There are
a number of reasons. Because the decal is applied by
machine, positioning of the decal is consistent and
accurate, because there is no water to squeegee out, you
don’t get frizzle or blow holes where water is under the
print. And on candles the print becomes an integral part of
the surface of the candle, to give a far superior aesthetic
value
How
soon can we fire items decorated with this system?
You can
fire immediately after application. This is, again, because
there is no water present. We’ve even supplied machines to
Companies who have placed the application unit alongside the
kiln or lehr and put the items directly onto the kiln belt.
You don’t
seem to have a machine in your range that’s suitable for
